Paraphrase

Nabû-zēru-iddin/Šamaš-iddin (NZI) owes 26(?);0 of barley, the impost (imittu) that he must pay as his rental payment (sūtu) (on his feld) in ...(broken). It is the property (makkūru) of the Lady-of-Uruk and Nanāya and pertains to the fixed rent (sūtu) due to Šumu-ukīn/Bēl-zēri//Basia the rent farmer (ša muḫḫi sūti) of the Lady-of-Uruk. NZI will deliver the barley in m.III using the mašiḫu-measure of the Lady-of-Uruk.

3 witnesses and the scribe Anu-mukīn-apli/Innin-tabni-uṣur//Gimil-Nanāya

Notes

It seems to be the first text in which Šumu-ukīn/Bēl-zēri//Basia appears with the title of rent farmer (ša muḫḫi sūti). D. Cocquerillat (1968, 18 and 115) proposed reconstructing the toponyms for the location of the field as [(tp)Bīt-Šamaʾ-il, on the canal (tp)Ḫarru-ša-Iddināya, which is on the (tp)Nār-šarri]. However, there is not enough space on the tablet for this reconstruction.
