Lease of a house: A rents out to B his entire house for 10 shekels of silver rent (idū) per year beginning with (ultu) month [x] for 3 years. The lessee has to renew the roof (ūru šanû). He will charge (ana muhhi PN manû) his lessor with the costs for the bricks (libittu), reed (qanû) and beams (gušūru) needed for renovation work (dullu epēšu), if they exceed the 30 shekels of silver, that is, the rent for 3 years. 3 witnesses and the scribe.
