Lease of a prebend: A rents out to B the prebend of the temple enterer (isiq ērib bītūti) before Šamaš of Sippar for 2 minas of silver with stamp-mark (kaspu ša ginni) per year. From (ultu) the 1st of Nisān (I), the lessee enjoys the yield (ebūru) of the prebend, that is, the share (zittu) from the offering table (paššūru) comprising [x] kor (liter) of bread, [x] kor (liter) of beer daily and a shoulder cut (imittu, 15 uzu for uzu.15), [broken], honey, wine and 0;0.0.1 kor (1 l) and 1/8 liter (summunu) of pressed (oil) (halṣu) monthly. Each party has taken a copy. The transaction is concluded in the presence of (ina ušuzzi) the priest (šangû) of Sippar (Ina-Esagil-lilbur) and the judge (dayyānu) (Nabû-iddin) as well as 3(+) other witnesses.
