The document starts by stating that B owes barley (13? kor) to A and continues by stipulating the terms for repayment. It is agreed that he will deliver the barley in the town of Adabilu, at the next barley harvest (3rd month). He does not have to pay interest. The document is written on the 23rd of the 10th month, i.e. about 4 months before the delivery date. C guarantees for the delivery of the barley.
A = Gummulu/Bi-ḫamê; B = Šalam-Yāw/Nadab-Yāw; C = Dalā-Yāw/Ilī-šū
