Paraphrase | Hiring of a women (possibly a female temple-serf) by a private individual. fA is at the disposal (ina pāni) of B1 and B2 (probably fA’s brother). B1 and B2 will deliver 2 blankets (túgkur.rameš) yearly to Ištar-of-Uruk and Nanāya (in compensation). The tablet is drafted in the presence of C, the royal resident (qīpu) of Uruk and Eanna. Names of 6 witnesses and the scribe. The tablet resembles hiring contracts such as YOS 17, 9, though the family relation between fA and B2 may point to a personal rather than a business context: the woman is put in the care of her brother.
fA= fIlat-x/Eanna-ibni (probably sister of B2); B1= Iqīšāya/Marduk-šarrani; B2= Ṣillāya/Eanna-ibni (probably fA’s brother); C= Šamaš-ilia, royal resident (qīpu) of Uruk and Eanna
