Labour contract for irrigation works
Nergal-šumu-iddin, Nādin, Šamaš-ibni, Nabû-rē'ûa, and Nanāya-iddin are placed (ušuzzu) at the disposal (ina pāni) of Silim-Bēl/Bēl-zēri//Basia (SB).
They will perform (epēšu) the work (dullu) of irrigation by buckets (ana dalê) for him.
SB will pay them the expenses (nisḫu) and salaries (kurummatu), as is customary (aki) for water drawers, and charge (ušuzzu) them a hireling’s (agru) wage for missing more than one day of work.

Notes
Most likely, Silim-Bēl is a brother of Šumu-ukīn, who is well-attested as a rent farmer of the Eanna temple. Therefore, the transaction is probably temple-related rather than private in nature.
