A1, A2,, A3, A4, and A5 are placed (ušuzzu) at the disposal (ina pāni) of B.

They will perform (epēšu) the work (dullu) of irrigation by buckets (dalû) for him.

B will pay them the expenses (nishu) and salaries (kurummatu), as is customary (aki) for water drawers, and charge (ušuzzu) them a hireling’s (agru) wage for missing more than one day of work.
