Promissory note for assessed field rent (imittu), to be delivered in dates. Fragmentary.

The first lines, now broken, must have mentioned an amount of dates, the assessed field rent on land (imitti eqli) included in the property (makkūru) of the Lady of Uruk and Nanāya and within the rent-farm (sūtu) of A, farmer general of the Lady of Uruk. B, whose name is broken, owes these dates to A: he shall bring them in Tašrīt (VII) in courtyard (haṣāru). The total amount will be delivered according to the measure of the Lady of Uruk in one instalment, together with 1;2.3 kor (c. 258 l) for the rations (kurummatu). B will also hand over (the customary amount of) offshoots (liblibbu, wr. ŠÀ-bi) and fibres (mangagu), and a load of firewood (huṣābu). Among the delivered fruits, a broken amount must consist of choice dates (makkasu). Someone whose name is lost in a lacuna (B ?) acknowledges that the gardener’s remuneration (sisinnu) has been received (eṭēru Stat.); this agreement does not include (elat) 1 kor (c. 180 l) of dates that for the agricultural supervisor (gugallu).
