Note on consumed fodder for birds.
The tablet lists the amounts of barley that the ducks (paspasu) ate (ītakal: akālu Gt) per day within specific timespans during Darius’ 7th regnal year. The poor state of conservation does not allow any certain reconstruction of the timespans, nor any exact calculation of the amount of barley consumed in the mentioned timespans.
