Tabulated list of incoming livestock, following an assessment.
Fragment of a tablet listing the sheep and goats (ṣēnu) that were deposited (ṣabātu Stat.) by herdsmen to the property (makkūru) of the temple of Ištar and Nanāya according to the assessment (amirtu) of the … (broken year). The tablet is organised in 4 columns (with headings) listing (i) the names of those who delivered the mentioned animals, followed in the other columns by the exact number for each class of animals, namely (ii) male lambs (parru), (iii) male lambs (kalūmu), and (iv) he-goats (urīṣu). For a possible distinction between parru-male lambs and kalūmu-male lambs, see Kozuh 2014, 61f. and 240 n. 55. Kozuh classifies this text among the so-called “scribal daybooks” (p. 51ff.). The tablet has vertical and horizontal gridlines.
