Undertaking to deliver kiln-fired bricks in return for silver received from the temple.

B owes a broken amount of silver that he received to finance (ana, lit. for) the supply (qerēbu D) of 800 kiln-fired bricks (agurru) from Šallata. The silver belongs to (makkūru) the temple of Ištar of Uruk and Nanāya and is managed by (ša ina qātē) A, the supervisor appointed (bēl piqitti) by C, bishop (šatammu) of the Eanna. B undertakes to deliver in full (gamāru-nadānu) to A these bricks in Šabāṭ (XI), bringing them into Babylon and placing them in the treasury of the Eanna that is located in front of the ramp (nabalkattu) of the Enlil Gate. He swears by the gods that he will not let the boat go to any other place until he will have checked the 800 kiln-fired bricks and given them to A. Names of 2 witnesses and the scribe: Ištar-zēru-ibni/…

A = Nabû-bēlšunu/Nabû-šumu-ukīn, supervisor (bēl piqitti); B = Rēmūtu/Arad-Nabû//Mušēzib; C = Marduk-šāpik-zēri, bishop (šatammu) of the Eanna.
