One side of the tablet lists 793 sheep and goats taken (ṣabātu) at the shearing in m.IV and m.V of Cam. 03 from the herdsmen under the management of (ša qātē) Arad-Bēl/Šarru-ukīn; Zēria/Nanāya-ēreš; Innin-šumu-uṣur/Ibnāya, Balāṭu/Rēmūtu, and Anu-bān-aḫi/Šulāya; and from Nabû-nāṣir/Lā-qīpu, and Šumu-iddin/Zēria and his brother Bēl-ēreš/Zēria in (tp)Tagritēnu. Most of these animals are male kalūmu-lambs, some are male parru-lambs, and a few are he-goats (urīṣu) and male kids (gadû) or barren ewes (U8.SAL.MÁḪ).

The other side of the tablets records the allocation of these animals. Most of them are given to the fattening (house) (urê), and many kalūmu-lambs are put at the disposal of (ina pāni) Balāṭu, the offering shepherd (rēʼi ginê), for regular offerings (ginû). Furthermore:

1 male kalūmu-lamb for slaughtering (nakāsu D) at the gates.

1 barren ewe as the equivalent of 1 shekel of silver for allowances (kurummatu) of men (ṣābu) at the outposts (kādu), (given to) Anu-mukīn-apli.

1 barren ewe as the equivalent of 0;2.2 allowances of Luttû of the storehouse (bīt qātē).

2 kalūmu-lambs for the animals that were missing (lit.: the rest of, bābtu) in the selection (parāsu) of 20 lambs on the 20^th day of m.III.

2 barren ewes as the eqivalent of the 1;1.4 allowances (kurummatu) of the workers at the wall of Babylon, (given to) Innin-aḫḫē-iddin, chief of oblates (rab širki).

1 barren ewe as the equivalent of 0;3.2 sacrificial commodities (maššartu), (given to) Nabû-aplu-iddin/Bēl-uballiṭ.

1 he-goat for leather straps of the bellows (nappaḫu) (given to) Bazuzu, the bronze-smith (nappāḫ siparri).

The obverse of the tablet details the incoming of 793 sheep and goats (ṣēnu) taken in from multiple herdsmen (nāqidu). The reverse then lists the re-allotment of all of these animals for various purposes.

* This is a rare case in which both terms for male lambs, parru and kalūmu, are used (see also PTS 2137 = Kozuh 2014, no. 18). Following M. Kozuh (2014, 61ff.), parru is translated as young male sheep and kalūmu as male lambs.

2 barren ewes (lahru, wr. u8.sal.máh), worth (ana) 240 liters, allocated as rations of the men of the Babylon fortification (ṣābu ša dūru Babylon) to B4, the overseer of temple-serfs (rab širku).

1 barren she-goat (enzu, wr. ùz.sal.máh), worth (ana) 120 liters, for (ina) the prebendary payment (maššartu) of B5.

2 he-goats for straps (kurussu) of the bellows (nappahu), to B6 the bronze smith (nappāh siparri).
