Administrative record of transfer.

List of multiple transactions of different types; livestock taken in and reassigned by the temple. Dated.

The obverse of the tablet details the incoming of 793 sheep and goats (ṣēnu) taken in from multiple herdsmen (nāqidu). The reverse then lists the re-allotment of all of these animals for various purposes.

* This is a rare case in which both terms for male lambs, parru and kalūmu, are used (see also PTS 2137 = Kozuh 2014, no. 18). Following M. Kozuh (2014, 61ff.), parru is translated as young male sheep and kalūmu as male lambs.

31 young male sheep, 24 male lambs, 4 barren ewes; total: 59 from the sheep and goats of (ša) the city of Tagritenu, from (ša) A6, and (the two brothers) A7 and A8.

Grand total (pap.ma): 793 sheep and goats that were taken from (ina qātē) the herdsmen (nāqidu ṣabātu, Stat.) at the shearing (ina muhhi gizzu) in Dûzu (IV) and Abu (V), 3 Camb.

95 male lambs for the daily offerings (sattukku) are under the responsibility (ina pāni) of B1, the offering shepherd (rēˀu sattukku/ginê).

1 male lamb from (ina) the male lambs slaughtered (nakāsu, D Stat) at the gates.

1 barren ewe (lahru, wr. u8.sal.máh), worth (ana) 1 shekel of silver, allocated as rations (kurummatu) of the men of the outposts (ṣābu ša kādu) to B2.

1 barren ewe (lahru, wr. u8.sal.máh), worth (ana) 84 liters, allocated as rations to B3, of the storehouse (ša bīt qātē).

2 male lambs, to complete (šalāmu D) the shortage (babtu, cf. Kozuh’s instalment) for 20 lambs that are set aside (parāsu, wr. pa-ra-su! (T. ru)) for (the offerings of?) the 20th of Simān (III).

2 barren ewes (lahru, wr. u8.sal.máh), worth (ana) 240 liters, allocated as rations of the men of the Babylon fortification (ṣābu ša dūru Babylon) to B4, the overseer of temple-serfs (rab širku).

1 barren she-goat (enzu, wr. ùz.sal.máh), worth (ana) 120 liters, for (ina) the prebendary payment (maššartu) of B5.

2 he-goats for straps (kurussu) of the bellows (nappahu), to B6 the bronze smith (nappāh siparri).
