Paraphrase | Obligation to deliver livestock to the temple for offerings. The tablet lays down the obligation of A, the overseer of herds (rab būli), to bring in (abāku) 355 male yearling sheep (kalūmu mār šattu) from (ina) his outstanding balance (rēhu) and from balance of the herdsmen (nāqidu) under his control (ṣābu qātē) by the 1st of Šabāṭ! (XI) 3 Camb. He will then give them (nadānu) for (ana) the daily offerings (sattukku) of the Lady-of-Uruk, which begin on (ultu) the 1st of Šabāṭ (XI). If A does not deliver the lambs, he will bear the punishment of the king (hīṭu ša šarru šadādu). The document is written in the presence (ina ušuzzu) of B. Witnesses (mukinnu): C1, C2, and C3.
