Paraphrase | Obligation to bring in livestock from the temple flock for branding. The tablet stipulates that A should bring forth (abāku) 90 sheep and goats, the property (makkūru) of the Lady-of-Uruk and Nanāya debited against (ina muhhi) him, along with (itti) his (own?) fold (qabuttu), to be branded at the sluice-gate (bābu) of the Nāš-kāpiru canal in Nisan (I) 14 Nbn. These 90 animals are the 70 rams (puhalu) and ewes (lahru) which A did not show (kullumu) to the messengers (mār šipri) of B, the temple administrator (šatammu) of Eanna and did not brand (šamātu). The rest are the 20 sheep and goats (ṣēnu) that the crown prince still owes (rēhu, lit. "outstanding balance") as tithe (ešru) for 12 Nbn. They remained behind (namarkû) at the disposal (ina pāni) of C, the crown prince’s herdsman (nāqidu). All of this is apart (elat) from prior outstanding balances (rēhu). Names of 4 witnesses (including B, the temple administrator) and a scribe.
