Obligation of five launderers to manufacture and deliver curtains to the temple against the payment of rations in naturaliaThe tablet lays out the obligations imposed by the Eanna temple on 5 launderers (pūṣāya):

A1, A2 (A1’s son), A3 (A1’s father), A4, and A5.

Starting on the 1st of Ṭebēt (X) 40 Nbk, A15 will annually make (epēšu) and deliver (nadānu) to Eanna 5 curtains (gadalû) for the gate(s) (bābu) of the cella(s) (bīt papāhu) of the Lady-of-Uruk, Nanāya, Uṣur-amāssu, Gula, and Nergal (dIGI.DU) … (uncl.) of the cords (guhaṣṣu) and neck(lace) (kišādu) …s (uncl.) of the entire year. They shall withdraw (našû) their rations from Eanna half in barley and half in dates.
