Paraphrase

A man is summoned to the temple to plead his case in a matter of disputed debt notes.

The tablet concerns the debt notes (uˀiltu) for dates from the rent farm (sūtu) of A, property (makkūru) of the Lady-of-Uruk and Nanāya, which A charged against (ina muḫḫiB.

A gave those debt notes to C1, temple administrator (šatammu), and C2, the courtier and royal supervisor (ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) of Eanna, in order to cover his own outstanding balance (rēḫu) to the temple.

On the 1st of Tašrīt (VII), B will come to Uruk to plead his case against A in the presence of C1C2, and the scribes of Eanna. If he won’t come, B will have to deliver the dates to the temple according to the disputed debt notes.

Names of 4 witnesses and a scribe.

A= Kalbāya/Iqīša; B= Aplāya/Šamaš-zēru-iqīša; C1= Nidinti-Bēl (/Nabû-mukīn-zēri//Dābibī), temple administrator (šatammu) of Eanna; C2= Nabû-ahu-iddin, courtier and royal supervisor (ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) of Eanna.
