A swears (tamû) by Bēl, Nabû, and the adê-oath of the king that within nine days he will get the debt notes (uˀiltu ša rašûtu) that the Eanna temple charged against (ina muhhi) the (agricultural) workers (ṣābu) and give (našû-ma nadānu) them to B1, the temple administrator (šatammu), and B2, courtier and royal supervisor (ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) of Eanna. Presumably, this would enable the temple authorities to finalize the accounting with him and the workers. A, a known rent farmer (ša muhhi sūti) of the temple, had already appeared in court before (ina ušuzzu) the judge (dayyānu) C on account of this matter and was convicted. Now he is supposed to let the temple authorities have the debt notes instead (arki) of a payment.
