Paraphrase | Obligation of a woman to deliver her husband to the Eanna tempple. B, probably a garderner, did not pay his impost (imittu) duty for a field of the Lady-of-Uruk in Bīt-Šaggā, and C, the rent farmer (ša muhhi sūti) of the Lady-of-Uruk, managed to get hold of his wife, fA. She has to deliver B, her husband, on 1 Addar (XII), to C or else, she will have to pay his debt of 35 kor of dates to the temple, which is the amount that C had estimated (emēdu) for (ana muhhi) B. Names of 2 witnesses and a scribe. fA= fŠannāya/Kaššāya, wife of B; B= Itti-šēpē-šarri/Ubār-Nabû, husband of fA; C= Kalbāya/Iqīša (//Basia), rent farmer (ša muhhi sūti) of the Lady-of-Uruk. |
