Paraphrase

Debt note for impost in dates.

The multiple gaps on the obverse are (securely) restored according to the reading in Janković 2013. Fully restored Akkadian keywords are not noted.

[owes] 260 kor if dates. It is the impost (imittu) that he has to pay for the plot of land (eqlu) in Lasūtu, the bīt ritti estate of B. The dates are [the property of the Lady of] Uruk and Nanāya and pertain to (ša) [the rent farm (sūtu)] of C (who had leased the license to collect rent on behalf of the temple).

A will give the dates in month [VII or VIII], all at once (ina ištet rittu), using the measure (mašīhu) [of the Lady-of-Uruk]. With each kor (of dates) he will give 0;0.1.3½ kor as the kiṣir esitti balāṭu ana Bēl fee (partly uncl.), a load (biltu) of firewood (huṣābu), a palm-leaf basket (tuhallu), leaflets (liblibbu) and fibre (mangagu). D1 and D2, guarantee (pūtu našû) for the payment (eṭēru) of the dates.

This is apart (elat) from 1 kor of sesame, 2 measures (mešhatu) of cuscuta (kasû), and 0;0.2 kor of fenugreek (šambaliltu), the share (zittu) (from the land) below the date palms which is at his disposal (ina pāni).*

Names of 4 witnesses and a scribe.

* The last clause refers to the herbs cultivated beneath the palm trees.

A= [PN]/Nabû[-x//PN]; B= Arrab/[ PN]; C= [Ardia]/Nabû-bān-ahi//Rēmūt-Ea; D1= Mukkēa/Innin-zēru-šubši; D2= Dannu-ahhēšu-ibni/Nabû-erība.
