Debt note for šibšu-tax in barley.
A owes (ina muhhi) 23+ kor of barley, credit charged (rašûtu) against him for the šibšu-tax of [...] the Urukeans, [...] of the 22nd year (Nbk), property (makkūru) of Ištar of Uruk and Nanāya.
The barley is said to be given (nadānu, wr. sum-nu) by B, the canal inspector (gugallu). This statement seems to have been inserted to the text later, and its context is unclear (see Janković 2013 (PhD diss.), 122).
A will pay the entire (gamirtu) barley with the measure (mašīhu) of Eanna in Eanna.
Names of 2 witnesses and a scribe.
A= Marduk-šākin-šumi/Šamaš-šumu-ukīn/Esagilāya; B= Nabû-zēru-ibni, canal inspector (gugallu).
