Debt note for silver, to be paid in barley (fragmentary).
A1, A2, the deputy (šanû) of the Sealand, and A3, the canal inspector (gugallu) of the governor (šakin māti) who is in Uruk, owe (ina muhhi) [x] minas of silver belonging to (makkūru) the Lady-of-Uruk and Nanāya. They will repay it in barley in Dûzu (IV) according to the the exchange rate (mahīru) of Ayyār (II) and Simān (III), i.e. at a price current during or just after the harvest.
The final section refers to different canals in the vicinity of Uruk and could possibly concern the provenience of the barley: “barley from (ina muhhi) (the land on) the Takkīru, from Nār-saparrātu, the barley from (the land on) the Nār-šarri, from the [x]-canal [until ...] Nāˀid-[x ...]”.
The tablet is drafted in the presence (ina ušuzzu) of B, the bēl-[x].Names of 4 witnesses, and a scribe.
Additional lines, too fragmentary for a translation.
A1= Nabû-talīm/Adad-šumu-iddin; A2= Nabû-ahu-[x]/Nabû-šuzzizzanni, deputy (šanû) of the Sealand; A3= Amurru-šarru-uṣur/Ḫašdia, canal inspector (gugallu) of the governor (šakin māti); B= Nabû-[x], bēl-[x].
