Debt note for barley (paid instead of dates).
B harvested (nakāsu) in Bitqu-ša-Bēl-ēṭer 100 kor of dates belonging to (makkūru) of the Lady-of-Uruk and Nanāya. Now, this amount of dates is converted (šupêltu, lit. exchanged) into their equivalent in barley namely 100 kor, and charged against (ina muhhi) A.
A will deliver the barley in Eanna, using the measure (mašīhu) of the Lady-of-Uruk, on the 20th of Simān (III) to C1, the royal resident (qīpu) of Eanna, and to C2, the temple administrator (šatammu) of Eanna. A will then also receive from D, a known rent farmer, the debt note (uˀiltu) charged against B for the said barley.
