Paraphrase | Debt note for barley (paid instead of dates). The debt note (uˀiltu) of B for […] dates belonging to (makkūru) of the Lady-of-Uruk and Nanāya is now converted (šupêltu, lit. exchanged) into their equivalent in barley namely 53 kor, and charged against (ina muhhi) A. A will deliver 26;2.3 kor in Dûzu (IV) in Uruk and 26;2.3 kor in Arahsamna (VIII) in Bāb-Ḫilti. The payments to Eanna will be in the measure (mašīhu) of the Lady-of-Uruk. C, probably A’s brother, guarantees (pūtu našû) for the payment of the barley. Names of 4 witnesses and a scribe. A= Bībēa/Nabû-udammiq (probably C’s brother); B= Kalbāya/Iqīša//Basia; C= Mušēzib-Bēl/Nabû-udammiq (probably A’s brother). |
