Receipt for ilku-tax: the first blanket out of two.
A receives (mahāru, Stat.) 1 blanket (túgkur.ra) from B. This is the first of 2 new blankets, measuring 8 by 7 cubits and weighing 12 mina, which C, the temple-serf (širku) of Šamaš, (should deliver) as ilku-tax for the 7th year (of Cambyses), and for the delivery of which B guaranteed (pūtu našû) to (ina qātē) A.
B will give the 2nd blanket in Ayyār (II) to D, and he will then take (back) (našû) his promissory note.

A= Iddin-Bēl/Marduk-šumu-iddin//Itinnu; B= Basia/Taqīš; C= Tudanu, temple-serf (širku) of Šamaš; D= Arad-Bēl/Bēl-ušallim//Adad-šamê.
