Paraphrase | The tablet is a note recording the status of a man’s mother. The tablet has a date but no list of witnesses and thus, strictly speaking, it is not a legal text. A said (qabû) to B, the courtier (ša rēš šarri) that fC, his mother, is a zakītu-woman of the Lady-of-Uruk and she married (ana bīti erēbu, lit. she entered the house of) a temple-serf (širku). A= Nabû-aplu-līšir/fKullā (= fC); B= Nabû-šarru-uṣur, courtier (ša rēš šarri) and a known supervisor (bēl piqitti) of Eanna; fC= fKullā, a zakītu-woman of the Lady-of-Uruk, mother of A |
