Paraphrase | Receipt of barley by a royal official from the head of the Egibi family. Payment for transport costs. By order of the Governor of Babylon. A, clerk (sepīru) of the specialized craftsmen (ummânu) and appointed (lú[…]) over the Ionians (lúia-ma-na-a-a), receives (mahāru) a broken amount of barley from B to cover the costs of transporting (gimru) a broken amount of barley. He acts by order of (ina qibi) C, governor of Babylon. The barley that needs to be transported is income from the collection of fixed rent (sūtu), due to D1 and D2, governors of (bēl pihāti) the district Tâmti. The parties to the contract have taken one copy of the document each. Names of 5 witnesses and the scribe.
