| Paraphrase | Security for debt. Payment due from the head of the Egibi family. Interest. B owes 50 shekels of white, medium quality silver, of which 1/8 is alloy, to A. The silver is the remainder (rīhtu) of a debt (u'iltu) of 2 2/3 minas. The present document stipulates that from Nisan (I) of the 18th year onwards a yearly interest of 20% should be paid on a monthly basis. Names of 5 witnesses and the scribe.
