Paraphrase
Release from obligatory state service for the next three and a half months.
The document starts by stating that A served 10 days a month(*) with B (dullu itti PN epēšu), his contingent commander (rab hanšê, lit: "official in charge of hanšû-land"), since Ayyar (II) of Darius’ 24th year. He served on the makurru-boats at the King’s quay. It is then provided that till the end of Tašrīt (VII) of the 24th year of Darius, the commander cannot call him up (dekû) for service (ana muhhi x dullu). Names of 3 witnesses a.o. Nidintu, B's brother, and the scribe. Prosopographic links with the Egibi archive.
