Paraphrase | Receipt of payment for various service or tax obligations by the head of the Egibi family. Paid on behalf of a third party. A receives payment (mahāru) from B for the account of (ana muhhi) C, for various taxes that are due from the latter. The taxes are: the ilku-tax, a supplement to the bow-tax (ṭipi ša qašti) and a contribution for the “fittings of the archer” (unāt qašti), and cover the period from Kislīm of the 25th year till the end of Nisan of the 27th year of Darius. The parties to the contract have taken one copy of the document each. Names of 3 witnesses and the scribe.
