| Paraphrase | Labour contract to go to Elam by joining the chariot of the Governor of Babylon. Receipt of part of the salary from the head of the Egibi family. A shall go to Elam on behalf of B, together with the charioteers (ṣābū ša narkabti) of C, Governor of Babylon. It is agreed that he will be paid a salary (idū). In the present document he receives (mahāru) 50 shekels of silver of which 1/8 is alloy from B as his salary through the end of Tašrīt (VII). D assumes warranty for A.The parties to the contract have taken one copy of the document each. Names of 3 witnesses and the scribe.
