Paraphrase | Receipt of makkasu-dates by a courtier. For the preparation of offerings in the temple of Nergal. Reference to the foreman of a group of prebendaries. A, a courtier (ša rēš šarri), receives 24 kor of makkasu-dates from B. The makkasu-dates are for the preparation of Nergal’s regular offerings (ginû) in the period starting from the 1st Siman (III) of the 29th year till the end of Ulul (VI) of the 29th year. He will register the receipt in the accounts of C1 and? his colleagues ( lúki-na-at-tumeš), the lúx-x-rimeš and will give proof of it to B (itti PN ušuzzu-nadānu). If he fails to do so, he should give other dates to the temple for B's account? (ana muhhi?) in the month [broken]. Names of 5 witnesses and the scribe. At the very end of the document, after the date, a short remark links the dates to the foreman (LÚ.GAR) of the "arrangers-of-the-sacrifical table (LÚ mu-ban-ni-e). *suluppê ša šākin mubannê nadnû.
