Paraphrase Promissory note (imittu) for dates: B owes to A 8;4 kor of dates of the impost (imittu), in which fC has a third share. He is to pay it in Arahsamnu (VIII) in the storeroom (haṣāru) in the mašīhu-measure of 1 PI; with each kor he is to give palm-leaf baskets (tuhallu), date baskets (gipû), date-palm fibres (mangagu), 12 loads of palm-frond ribs (huṣābu), and 2 containers of pressed dates (darīku). A clause against pruning (arû D, ú-ma-ru) any living part (raṭbu) (of the trees); one excluding 1 kor of dates and 3 1/3 shekels of silver that B owes to A; one stating that the šissinnu is not paid; and one stating that the ṣapītu, the levy of the agricultural supervisor (gugallu) and the guard’s fee (kādu) are unpaid follow. 2 witnesses and the scribe (Nabû-tabni-uṣur/Balāṭu//Egibi [brother of fC).
