Paraphrase Loan of silver: B1 owes A 1/3 mina of white cut silver (kaspu peṣû nuhhutu) by 1/8 alloy (bitqu) per shekel. B1 will pay it on the 15th of Tašrīt (VII). The debt will bear a monthly interest of 1 shekel of silver per mina (20% p.a.). The 1st, 2nd, 11th and 12th day of each month of the prebend of the butcher’s prebend (isiq ṭābihūti) in Ebabbar, temple of Šamaš of Sippar, is placed as a pledge. This is apart from (elat) the promissory note (u’iltu) concerning 4 1/3 minas of silver, without interest (qaqqadu), of A due from B2, father of B1, for which the gatekeeper’s prebend (isiq atûti) of the main gate (abullu) and 0;0.3 kor (18 l) of bread before Šarrat-Sippar have been placed as a pledge. 6 witnesses and the scribe.
