- Rent of livestock.
A rents out (ana zitti nadānu) 30 she-goats (enzētu), 5 he-goats (enzū, wr. ùz.maš.gal), 20 young ewes (lahru tālittu) and 5 female lambs (parratu), 60 living beings (napištu) in total, to B (C’s slave) for 1 mina and 20 shekels of silver. The renter receives 20 shekels of silver, from the share held by (pūt zitti ša) B; the tenant will give the remaining 20 shekels of silver in the month Simān (III). B guarantees for the herding (re’ītu), caretaking (suddudu) and guarding (maṣṣartu) (of this livestock). They hold an equal share (ahātu) in the young animals (tālittu) and the shorn wool (gizzatu). The flock (ṣēnu) is (part of) the business capital (harrānu) of D, the šušānu-officer of Nabonidus. Names of 3 witnesses and the scribe.
