Paraphrase Loan of silver in exchange for livestock: 15 men (B1-B15) owe 5 minas of silver to the Šamaš Temple in Sippar. This is the price of 300 sheep and goats which the debtors have to deliver in the month Ulūl (VI). If the men fail to deliver by then, the livestock’s offspring will belong to Šamaš too. On the other hand, if the messenger of Šamaš won’t manage to come on time to pick the livestock up, the livestock’s offspring belongs to the men. 4 witnesses (including Marduk-ušallim, prefect [šaknu] of Ruˀa) and the scribe. Compare with BM49172.
