In m.I, Mušēzib-Marduk/Erība (MM) will litigate the case of 5 days (20th – 25th) of a brewer’s prebend (sirāšūtu) before Bēltia with Bēl-ahhē-iddin/Nabû-šimânni (BAI).

Previously, BAI acted as the guarantor (pūtu našû) for his brother Ammēni-ilī/Nabû-šimânni, when he sold that prebend to Ahhēa/Erība (A). Now, MM sold the prebend to Marduk/Tabnēa (M) and Nabû-ušallim/Bēl-iddin (NU) for 1 mina and 15 shekels of silver.

If MM comes clear (zakû N), M and NU will [...] the prebend from him.

A damaged part of the document stipulates that MM will give to M and NU the tablet and the promissory note that A wrote with AM and BAI. (Should he not show up for trial), beginning in m.III(?), MM will start paying interest on the 1 m and 15 shekels of the purchase price.

Settlement of a dispute concerning the purchase of a prebend: A₁ and A₂ purchased the prebend of the brewer (sirāšūtu) before Bēltia for 5 days, from the 20^th to the 25^th of [x] month, for 1 mina and 15 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu) from B. This prebend, however, has already been purchased by C from D, with E, (if restored correctly) brother of D, being the guarantor (pūtu našû). The dispute will be settled between B and E in Ayyār (II) of the following year in favour of A₁ and A₂, while B will be charged with interest beginning with Simān (III).  2+ witnesses (and the scribe).
