Nabû-udammiq/Nergal-uballiṭ (NU1) brings a legal claim (dīnu gerû) against Nabû-ušallim/Bēl-iddin (NU2) concerning 5 days of a prebend. After NU2 purchased this prebend from Nādin/Bēl-ušallim, Marduk-šumu-uṣur/Nergal-uballiṭ, NU1’s brother, asserted his claim to it (paqāru D).

The dispute is settled (dīnu dabābu) before Gimillu/Nadnāya, High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna, and the elders (šībūtu) of Eanna, who examine the case brought by NU1 (dīnu [mesû D]). The claim (tapqertu) is dismissed. The document concludes with a quitclaim clause (târu u dabābu iānu).

Settlement of a dispute concerning the purchase of a prebend: A₁ claims his right of priority over a prebend which B has purchased from C and to which A₂, the brother of A₁, has laid a claim. The bishop (šatammu) of Eanna (Gimillu/Nadnāya) and the elders of Eanna, who presided over the process, granted the claim of A₁. The settlement takes place during a year of "locking of the gate" (edel bābi).
