Promissory note for dates, assessed imittu rent from šušānû fields.

B owes dates (8;2.[3] kor c. 1530 liters) to A (his father), to be delivered  in the 8th month, i.e. during the date harvest season. The document is written on the 4th of the 5th month, about three months before the delivery date. The dates are from a stretch of land in the fields (eqlu) of the Judean šušānû-s (šušānê ša Yahudaya, wr. lú*+ia*-┌ḫu┐-[da]-an-na) that extends from (ultu) the border (miṣru) of [C’s] plot to the border of D’s plot. They are in payment of the fixed impost (sūtu) which A collects (lit. “of”, ša A) in E’s name (ša qātē), from his fellow Judeans. Names of 3 witnesses and the scribe: Iddin-Bēl/Kalbaya//Dābibi. F guarantees for the delivery of the dates.

A = Aḫīqam /Rapā-Yāw; B = Nīr-Yāw/Aḫīqam; C = (name is broken); D  = Abdi- […]; E = Kanzarā (without title); F = Baḫi-iltā/Zakar-Yāw
