Oath of Innin-šumu-uṣur/Ibnaya, Anu-ban-aḫi/Šūlaya, and Balāṭu/Rēmūt, temple shepherds (nāqidū). They swear by the gods and the adê of the king to Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī, bishop (šatammu) of Eanna, Nabû-aḫu-iddin, royal representative (ša rēš šarri) and commissioner (bēl piqitti) of Eanna, to deliver 200 sheep for the daily offerings of Ištar within 15 days and 100 sheep the following month. If they default, they will suffer the punishment (ḫīṭu) of the governor Gubaru. Four witnesses and Marduk-nāṣir/Madānu-aḫḫē-iddin//Šigû’a, the scribe. |
