Šamaš-nāṣir/Anu-aḫu-iddin (ŠN) leases a house for the yearly rent (idu) of 3 shekels of silver, payable in 2 installments (one half at the beginning, and the second half in the middle of the year). The house, adjacent to the house plot of the sons of Innin-zēru-ušebši/Balāssu, was confiscated (našû) by Eanna for the outstanding dues (rēḫu) of Anu-aḫu-iddin/Mušallim-Marduk, an oblate of the Lady of Uruk (and the father of ŠN).

ŠN will renew the roof and repair the wall footing. The house will be at his disposal from the 21^st day of m.XI onward.

Written in the presence of Nabû-aḫu-iddin, Royal Overseer (ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) of Eanna.

Lease of a house. The Eanna leases the house of Anu-aḫu-iddin/Mušallim-Marduk, an oblate (širku) of the Lady of Uruk, next to the house of Innin-zēru-ušabši/Balāṭu, to his son Šamaš-kāṣir, since Anu-aḫu-iddin could not pay his rent. Šamaš-kāṣir is to pay a yearly sum of 3 shekel silver, half at the beginning and half in the middle of the year, to take care of the house (as is normal procedure), and to take possession on the 21st Šabāṭu (XI). The procedure is under the supervision of  Nabû-aḫu-iddin, royal representative (ša rēš šarri) and commissioner (bēl piqitti) of Eanna. Three witnesses and Nādinu/Bēl-aḫḫē-iqīša//Egibi, the scribe.
