| Paraphrase | List of men and their job quota for the temple. Dated. The tablet lists the names of 24 workers and their iškaru-obligation, (to deliver) 100 bundles of ṣapītu-weed each. Among the enlisted men we find 1 weaver (išparu) and 3 ploughmen (ikkaru). A LINE separates the heading from the list. From the archival context we known that the enlisted men were sent to work at the canal/dam in Gilušu (Jursa 1995, 186). |
