Obligation to deliver a slave to the temple for an outstanding debt
A has to deliver fB, his slave woman, to C1, the temple administrator (šatammu), and C2, the royal supervisor (bēl piqitti) of Eanna, by the 20th day of intercalary Addar (XIIb).
fB was registered in the registry (lēˀu) of the Lady-of-Uruk in lieu of the outstanding balance (rēhu ša muhhi) of Innin-šumu-uṣur, father of A.
If A does not deliver her, he will pay a compensation payment (mandattu) for every day that fB is entered into the temple’s registry, i.e. for the temple's loss of income due to the serfs' absence.
Names of 2 witnesses and a scribe.
A= Gimillu/Innin-šumu-uṣur (= D); fB= fAlakšu, slave of A, dedicated as a temple-serf; C1= Nidinti-Bēl (/Nabû-mukīn-zēri//Dābibī), temple administrator (šatammu) of Eanna; C2= Nabû-ahu-iddin, royal supervisor (bēl piqitti) of Eanna; D= Innin-šumu-uṣur, father of A.
