- Purchase of a house: A buys a plot of land in Sippar from B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 for 1 shekel of white silver per cubit (= 7 minas 37 shekels of block silver), and an additional payment of 10 shekels. It measures 150 cubits on the upper side to the north, next to the thoroughfare (mūtaqu) of the [standard?] of the queen of Sippar; 150 cubits on the lower side to the south, next to the houses in ruins of C1; 150 cubits on the upper front to the west, next to the street at the city wall; 150 cubits on the lower front to the east, next to the house in ruins of the sartennu C2 and the house of C3. In total, the land measures 456;0.6 sq. r ( 5596,5 m2). The document closes with the usual final clauses regarding the reception of the money, exclusion of further litigation on behalf of the seller’s party on pain of paying the price 12 times over. 7 witnesses, including 4 temple enterers (ērib bīti) of Šamaš (Zēr-Bābili/Ina/tēšî-ēṭir//Ēdu-ēṭir; Mukkēˀa/Arad-Bēl//Šangû-Šamaš; Šamaš-aplu-uṣur//Ilēˀi-Marduk; Niqūdu//Balāṭu), and the scribe: Balāṭu/Bēl-rēmanni//Sîn-ilī.
