Lease of a storeroom: Beginning with the 12th (of Arahsamna) A rents out to B the storeroom (bīt qātē) of the bīt asuppi building for the yearly rent (idū) of 2 shekels of silver by 1/8 alloy (bitqu) per shekel. B shall pay one half share of the rent (ahi kaspi) at the beginning of the year and the other half share in the middle of the year. B will repair (batqu ṣabātu) the wall (asurrû) and renew the roof (ūru šanû). He will give the daily (gift) of Enlil, the kīnayātu-gift and a date palm product (šugarrû).
