Dialogue document concerning an adoption of a son: B approaches A and asks him to lead away (abāku) and adopt his son C. A grants the request and asks for the details of C’s inheritance share (zittu). B voluntarily (ina hūd libbišu) names three (and in a broken passage possibly more) parts of land: First, 196 square cubits (49 m2) of land, which border on the house of D1. Second, 196 square cubits (49 m2) of land, which border on (the property of) D2. Third, 0;3.2 square kor (9,000 m2) of arable land (zēru) with date palms (gišimmaru). Its upper side borders on (the property of) D3 and its lower side on a plot of land within the measured area (libbū eqli). Its upper front borders on (the property of) D4 and its lower front on the royal street (harrān šarri). Broken passage. 5 witnesses and the scribe. A breach of contract will be avenged with a fine of 15 minas of silver.
