Paraphrase | Receipt of a boat-tower by the head of the Egibi family. From the Governor’s pool of (forced) labourers. A receives (mahāru) a man to tow boats (šaddidu) from B, for the account of (ana muhhí) C. It is the share (zittu) that is due from C. The labourer is to tow boats to the quay, under the administrative authority (ša qātē) of D, Governor of Babylon, for 2 months and 12 days (in the 24th year of Darius? Cf. BM31188). Names of 4 witnesses and the scribe.
