- Receipt of a person from the head of the Egibi family by an agent of the Commander of the Fortress. To serve in the Fortress of Babylon.
A receives (mahāru) a hireling? (lúa-gàr [agru]) from B, for the account of (ana ina sic! muhhi) C1 and C2 from whom the hireling was due. A acts by order of (ina iq-ba [ina qibi]) D, Commander of the Citadel (rab dūri). The hireling? is (to do service) for the Citadel (dūru) of Babylon till the end of intercalculary Addar (XII2) of the 26th year. The parties to the contract have taken one copy of the document each. Names of 5 witnesses and the scribe.
