Paraphrase | Summons to settle the payment of silver for the “contribution of the archer” (kind of service obligation?) with the head of the Egibi family. B should come (alāku) to Babylon on the 20th of Tašrīt (VII) in order to reach an agreement with A (itti PN dabābu, lit. "to argue a case"). It concerns the silver, the "gift" of/for the archer (qašti, wr. lúqašti) which A gave (ša iddinu, =paid?) to B. This type of contribution (nidintu, lit. "gift") probably falls within the category of state service obligations. If B fails to come, he shall pay 1 mina of silver. Names of 3 witnesses and the scribe. A=Marduk-nāṣir-apli/Iddinaya//Egibi (=Marduk-nāṣir-apli/Itti-Marduk-balāṭu//Egibi); B=Gūzānu/Nabû-zēru-līšir//Gahal |
