- Promissory note for barley. Payment for transport costs due to a courtier from the head of the Egibi family.
B should deliver 24;3.2 kor of barley that are due from him to A, a courtier (ša rēš šarri), to cover the costs for the transport (gimru) of barley. Delivery is due in Abu (V). The document specifies the kind of transport at stake but the passage is fragmentary*. Names of 5 witnesses and the scribe. Among the witnesses: a man with the Iranian name Bagadata/Mitrata; the courtier Bēl-ušallim (ša rēš šarri); and Mauzzu/Ṭabia (who has no title here, but cf. BM33112). The scribe is B himself.
* transport of barley [...] which Širku (=Marduk-nāṣir-apli/Itti-Marduk-balāṭu//Egibi) from (ina qate) [...].
