Paraphrase | Promissory note to pay a debt of silver. Due from the head of the Egibi family to the Governor of Kish through an intermediary. B should pay 23 minas of medium quality silver, of which 1/8 is alloy, that are due from him to A in Ayyar in Babylon. He does not have to pay interest (ina qaqqadi). He owes the silver because A paid it (it-ta-din [nadānu]), on B's orders (ina qí-bit [ina qibi]) to one of his creditors (rāšû), namely C, Governor of Kish (šākin ṭēmi). Names of 12 witnesses and the scribe.
