- Receipt of payment by a royal official for transport costs due from the head of the Egibi family. By order of the Governor of Babylon.
A, clerk (sepīru) of the gardeners (nukarribu) and the water-drawers (dalû) of the Grand Palace and the New Palace, receives payment (mahāru) from B1 to cover the costs for transporting (gimru) 100 kor of barley from the irrigated farmland (tamirtu) in Tâmti (to Babylon). He acts by order of (ina iqbi) C, Governor of Babylon. He already (elat) received payment (mahāru) for the transport costs of 50 kor of barley from B2 and B3, following an order by the same governor, which is recorded in a previous register (giṭṭu). Names of 3 witnesses and the scribe.
